What is the Technological Information Center?

It is the service area where the information resources that support the plans and programs of study, research, and extension of the Technological University of Matamoros are concentrated.

Bibliographic Collection

Bibliographic material found in the basic and complementary study plans and programs.

This area offers the following bibliographic services:

  • A 10-day loan with one renewal
  • Returns
  • Renewals

Note: in case of not delivering the bibliographic material on time, the fine will be the donation of a book with a monetary value of $10.°° pesos per day late, at the discretion of the person in charge of the CIT or directors of the academic area.

This area is made up of serial publications in printed format, which are:

  • JournalsSin título
  • Theses
  • Manuals

This material can be consulted in the reading room

 

CIT Policy

Bring a valid institutional credential (student, administrative, or teaching staff).
The loan is for 2 books per user
Do not lend the badge to another user for the loan of the material.
It is forbidden to take the material out of the CIT department without the corresponding loan.

In this internet room, you can request the loan of a computer equipment to access the internet service, showing only your valid institutional credential, to perform:

  • Research
  • Do homework
  • Consult the Open Access Library
  • Consult your e-mail
  • Users must leave their belongings in the corresponding place, which are located at the entrance of the building, carrying their valuables (laptop, cell phones, tablets, wallets, etc.).
  • For respect to the users who are making inquiries, please keep SILENCE.
  • Users are asked to make proper use of the furniture.
  • It is forbidden to smoke, bring in drinks, sweets and food, or wear a cap.
  • When handing in a damaged or mutilated book, a replacement of the material will be requested.

Any user who violates the CIT regulations or is caught removing any material or book without authorization will be sanctioned according to the policies of the Information Technology Center and the Honor and Justice Commission of the University.
