Admission Profile
Students who enter UTM to the career of I Industrial Processes in the Manufacturing area must possess certain knowledge, skills and abilities, as well as to fulfill certain administrative requirements that will allow them to adequately begin their university studies. The most important elements that students must have before entering UTM can be divided into two. On one hand, there are administrative requirements and on the other hand the desirable academic elements.
Among the administrative requirements for all applicants is to have completed high school or equivalent, take the CENEVAL exam, present a birth certificate and CURP, as well as to cover the registration fees for four months.
The desirable competencies of applicants who wish to enter into the career of Industrial Processes in the Manufacturing area include scientific and/or technological disciplines; students should know of physics, chemistry, arithmetic, algebra, probability, calculus, and trigonometry, as well as an interest in technology and engineering areas, and a taste for machines and tools. Applicants must have the ability to express themselves orally and in writing, to analyze and solve problems, a taste for learning, an interest in understanding their environment and in their integral formation; it is also desirable that they have knowledge of English and some computer experience.

With skills to calculate, evaluate, install and operate equipment, participates in the research process and design processes or technological advances, contributing to the sustainable development of the communities and the region.
