UTMatamoros wins third place in the Open Chess Tournament
UTMatamoros Pride
Gerardo Samael Cortez Nevárez, a student of the UTMatamoros Chess Club, won third place in the «Open» Chess Tournament organized by the Matamoros Technological Institute.
This event took place at the ITM facilities, in a 9 hour day, after 6 rounds of play UTMatamoros obtained excellent results.
UTMatamoros congratulates all the students of the chess club who represented the institution in such an important tournament.
