UTMatamoros seeks to strengthen ties with Brazosport College of Lake Jackson, Texas
In order to create an alliance between both institutions for the benefit of the UTMatamoros community, this morning Diana Masso Quintana, Rector of UTM, visited the facilities of Brazosport College in Lake Jackson, Texas.
During the visit, the UTMatamoros Rector held a meeting with Dr. Vincent Solis, President of Brazosport College. Among the topics discussed during the meeting was the signing of a collaboration agreement that will benefit students and faculty of the Matamoros Technological University. Also during the meeting Dr. Vicente Solis, awarded 4 scholarships to UTM for UTM teachers, this scholarship consists of training and evaluation of collaborative robots.
During the meeting the rector had the opportunity to talk with the directors and CEOs of companies such as Chevron, Spring Robotics and Boston Dynamics, in order to obtain more benefits for our institution.
With these actions we continue to strengthen the vision of our Governor Américo Villarreal, to strengthen education in Tamaulipas.
