UTMatamoros seeks to prevent addictions among young students.
Concerned about the health and well-being of UTMatamoros’ young people, UTM’s medical service area in collaboration with IMSS# 39, held a series of conferences called «ELLA Y EL CON PREVENIMSS», given by IMSS39 social work personnel.
They addressed addiction issues with the aim of raising awareness among the university community about the consequences of consuming any type of chemical substance, alcohol or tobacco and also generate a codependency.
