UTMatamoros receives visit from Brianna Powers
Last April UTM received the visit of Brianna Powers, United States Consul General in Matamoros.
The welcome was in charge of Ms. Diana Masso Quintana, who invited the Consul to take a tour of the facilities.
During her stay, the Consul of Matamoros, Brianna Powers, met with members of the robotics club of our institution, with whom she shared her excitement and admiration for the robotics students of the Technological University of Matamoros, wishing them the best of luck in the 2024 VEX Robotics World Championship – VEX U Event.
At the end of this meeting, Ms. Diana Masso Quintana, President of UTM, said she was honored by the vision of Consul Powers to see that our students are an inspiration to all of us. It reminds us of the importance of supporting and fostering young talent, of providing them with the tools and opportunities necessary to reach their full potential, and of continuing to drive growth and innovation in our society.
