UTMatamoros reaffirms ties with the U.S. Consulate in Mexico.
The Chancellor of Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros (UTM), Diana Masso Quintana, had the honor of welcoming the U.S. Consul General in Matamoros, Brianna Powers, and the U.S. Consul General in Monterrey, Melissa Bishop, to her facilities. This meeting was held with the objective of strengthening the university’s international relations.
During her visit, Chancellor Masso Quintana presented UTM’s broad educational offerings, highlighting its innovative academic programs and the robotics laboratory, one of the most advanced facilities that allows students to develop practical skills in technology. Likewise, the achievements and talents of the Robotics and Science and Technology Club were shared, where students have excelled in robotics, programming and technological innovation competitions and projects, standing out nationally and internationally and demonstrating the high level of preparation they receive at the university.
Diana Masso Quintana thanked the diplomatic authorities for their visit and expressed her enthusiasm to continue collaborating with them in initiatives that strengthen technological education in the region. This type of visit underscores the importance of UTM as a bridge between Mexico and the United States in the educational and scientific fields, and reiterates the university’s commitment to training highly qualified professionals in the areas of technology and robotics.
