The Tamaulipas Secretary of Education and UTMatamoros have joined the different initiatives of the Tamaulipas Secretary of Health to address the health contingency. Supporting with routes for the transportation service to hospitals and with the development of sanitizing tunnels, ventilator prototype, protective masks and antibacterial gel, which will be donated and installed in clinics, hospitals, health jurisdictions and local health centers in order to ensure the health of the population.
All this together with the coordination between higher education institutions and the National Association of Technological Universities, who have supported with the donation of material to make protective masks.
It is worth mentioning that the initiative that arises from the COVID-19 contingency, involves the participation of all areas of our institution such as: Science, Technology, Technological Services, Administration and Maintenance, thus demonstrating the ability of our students and teachers to attend to the manufacture of medical consumables that can be manufactured by 3D printing.
We appreciate the prevention actions of the State Government of Tamaulipas and Health Sector of Tamaulipas, to avoid the spread of the virus in our State.
