UTMatamoros becomes a STEM Certification Center
Great news for our educational community and beyond! The Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros has been officially appointed as a member of the Competency Management Committee of STEM Industry 4.0 Certification Centers by the National Council for Standardization and Certification of Labor Competencies (CONOCER). This important recognition was granted to us in a significant event held at the Polytechnic University of Tulancingo.
The distinction was presented to Diana Masso Quintana, our esteemed rector, by Francisco Wilson Robles, President of the STEM Academy, together with the founding partners.
Being a STEM Center (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) positions us at the forefront of education, committed to an interdisciplinary approach that promotes the applicability of scientific and mathematical knowledge in real contexts, driving innovation and preparing our students for the challenges of Industry 4.0.
We are ready to offer cutting-edge courses to both our student community and the general public, meeting the highest standards and counting on the support of the Iberoamerican STEM Academy to optimize our operation.
This achievement would not be possible without the support of the Governor of the State, Dr. Américo Villarreal Anaya, and our ally, Mrs. Lucia Aimé Castillo Pastor, Secretary of Education in Tamaulipas. Together, we are forging a future full of promise and opportunity for our students and for society as a whole.
