UTMatamoros awards over 900 academic degrees
The Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros (UTMatamoros) reaffirms its commitment to education by delivering more than 900 academic degrees corresponding to the 2021 backlog, an act that reflects the support of the Governor of Tamaulipas, Dr. Américo Villarreal Anaya, and the State Secretary of Education, Mrs. Lucía Aimé Castillo Pastor. The ceremony, presided over by the Rector of the institution, Mtra. Diana Masso Quintana, underlined the continuous effort to ensure that no student is left without the recognition of their academic achievement.
In her emotional speech, Ms. Masso emphasized that the degrees awarded represent much more than simple documents; they are symbols of dedication, sacrifice and perseverance during the years of study. She also emphasized the progress made in collaboration with the Secretary of Education of Tamaulipas for the implementation of the electronic degree process, which will allow future graduates to obtain their degrees.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, the Rector extended her most sincere congratulations to the new graduates, wishing them success and prosperity in this new stage of their professional careers.
