Last Thursday, in the presence of students, teachers, businessmen and special guests, the rector of the Technological University of Matamoros, Mr. Flavio Hinojosa Alvarez, presented his fourth educational management report, where he highlighted the first place nationally for Technological Universities in student mobility.
These actions allow students to stay in France, the United States and Canada, as well as the training of teachers, especially in the United States.
He also highlighted the first international places obtained by the students of this house of studies, such as the most recent one in Tunisia, Africa.
As well as the national and international first places with robotics clubs, where students have put the Technological University of Matamoros on high in countries such as Canada, Colombia, Spain and the United States.
In terms of culture and sports, they have won first place nationally in public speaking and gold and silver medals in athletics and weightlifting.
The UTM Rector highlighted the great participation of teachers and administrative personnel in achieving the certification and recertification of the different careers offered there, as well as the signing of agreements with other universities in the United States, France, Spain and Canada.
He also mentioned that more than 15 percent of the student population receives a scholarship from UTM or from the Ministry of Education in Tamaulipas or the Ministry of Public Education, especially those with good grades or who have excelled in cultural and sports activities.
