UTM WILL MIGRATE TO A BILINGUAL, INTERNATIONAL AND SUSTAINABLE SYSTEM.

It will become the first fully bilingual university in the state.
In order to publicize the project that UTM will migrate to the International and Sustainable Bilingual System, this Thursday morning, January 18, the rector of this university, Dr. Ivette Bermea Vázquez, met with members of the private initiative of Matamoros to download this information, highlighting that this project will begin this year with the careers of Mechatronics Engineering and International Logistics Engineering, creating in them the zero semester, where young students will receive 525 hours per month of English language.
The city’s businessmen said they agreed that UT Matamoros should start with this project and also committed to make some suggestions to strengthen this initiative, which will allow young people to complete their studies with more and better tools since they will not only acquire the knowledge related to their careers but will also master the English language, a fundamental tool to achieve better success in their careers as professionals.
