UTM WILL BRING TOGETHER SCIENTISTS AND RESEARCHERS FROM 14 COUNTRIES IN THE 3RD. INTERNATIONAL CONGRESS OF APPLIED SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

With the purpose of contributing to the development of the region, the Technological University of Matamoros, Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros, will bring together more than 20 scientists and researchers from 14 countries including Bulgaria, Russia, Finland, Cuba, Germany and Japan on June 15 for the 3rd International Congress of Applied Science and Technology with the themes of «Biotechnology and Sustainability«.
The rector of UTM, José Antonio Tovar Lara, highlighted the importance of this important event organized by the institution for the third consecutive year, which brings together researchers and scientists from different countries who present great advances in the topics to be presented at the Congress.
Some of the speakers are: Dr. Ana Lina, from Russia; Dr. Robert Winkler, from Germany; Dr. Antony Boucard Jr, from Canada; Dr. Takuya Nishigaki Shimizu, from Japan; Dr. Nagamani Balagurusamy, from India; Dr. Carlos Eduardo Suárez Ponciano, from Cuba; Dr. Jean-Marie Fevre, from France; Dr. Lucien Veleva Petrova, from Bulgaria; Dr. Edgar Sánchez, from Colombia; Dr. Gloria Ivette Bolio, from Mexico; Dr. Arnulfo Mar, from the United States and Dr. Rajeswari Narayanasamy, from India.
There will be more than 20 speakers from different countries around the world, who will share their knowledge with professors, researchers, directors of educational institutions, professionals, higher education students and businessmen from Mexico and the United States.
This meeting will also be open to the civil society of Tamaulipas and the entire country that wishes to attend each of the presentations with experts in topics such as biotechnology, nano-biosciences, medical biotechnology, biomass, science and architecture, among others.
As part of the Congress, a plenary forum will be held on the theme «Sustainability and Higher Education», with the participation of speakers from nine countries around the world, including France, Russia, India, Bulgaria, Mexico and Colombia.
There will also be an exhibition of the highest technology with topics such as robotics, nanosciences, virtual welding, video games, drones and the participation of world-class companies.
