UTM TEACHERS RECEIVE ENGLISH LANGUAGE TRAINING IN CANADA TO MIGRATE TO THE BIS MODALITY.

With just a few weeks to start the next term, the Technological University of Matamoros continues to intensively prepare its professors to perfect the teaching techniques of the Bilingual International and Sustainable (BIS) model, which will officially begin the September-December 2018 term.

UTM, with the outstanding work of Dr. Ivett Bermea Vázquez, rector of this institution, facilitated and provided all the necessary support so that a group of professors could travel for a month to the city of Barrie, Ontario, Canada, where they received training to improve their teaching skills in the teaching process for the careers that will migrate to the BIS modality. The training was given at Georgian College.

UTM will soon be the first university in Tamaulipas to migrate to the BIS modality, starting with the Higher University Technician in Mechatronics and International Business Operations degrees, and then continuing the process with other degrees.

The training will continue for all the teaching and administrative staff of this university, in order to provide an excellent service, so that the new generations can finish their studies with a high level of English.
