UTM STUDENTS VISIT MATAMOROS CUSTOMS.
As part of the teaching and professional development of the students of the Technological University of Matamoros («Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros»), Irene García Montoya and a group of young students from the International Commercial Operations program visited the Matamoros Customs facilities on July 2.
During their stay in this place, Customs officials welcomed the UTM students. Afterward, they were given a lecture in which they learned about the merchandise classification process, regulations, import-export processes, as well as modernization systems. Finally, they were given a tour of each of the areas of interest, which were mentioned in the lecture to the young students.
UTM continues to work on the academic strengthening of each of the careers taught here, reinforcing the practical knowledge in each of the visits to the companies that are visited. The teachers of this institution have the support of Dr. Ivett Bermea Vázquez, rector of this university, who provides the opportunity for young people to visit companies related to their careers and look for job opportunities.
