UTM STUDENTS RECEIVE TRAINING ON THE RIGHTS OF GIRLS AND YOUNG WOMEN

Ana Luisa Barrón Rodríguez, deputy director of the Coordination of Children and Family Affairs of the First Office of the National Human Rights Commission visited the Technological University of Matamoros to train 1,250 students on various topics related to the rights of girls and adolescents.
The training was attended by students from different university technician and engineering careers, including International Business Operations, Project Management and Evaluation, Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, International Logistics, Production Systems, Information and Communication Technologies, among others.
The topics presented by Ms. Barrón Rodríguez are part of a national program within the framework of the campaign called «Human Rights belong to all girls»: «Girl like you, girl like me»: «Children and adolescents for the dignity of girls».
These training were organized by the Technological University of Matamoros and supported by the General Coordination of Technological and Polytechnic Universities and in coordination with the National Human Rights Commission.
