UTM STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN A LEADERSHIP SEMINAR GIVEN BY THE MATAMOROS ROTARY CLUB.
On May 22, the Matamoros Rotary Club offered the Young Leaders Seminar for the students of the UTMatamoros, with the purpose of motivating the students to become leaders, to become entrepreneurs like many young people who today have excelled right here in the Matamoros region.
Manuel Ramirez Marroquin, president of the Matamoros Rotary Club, in an interview said that the vast majority of the students who attended this seminar are young people who receive a scholarship from the Matamoros Rotary Club.
«And it is done with the firm purpose that these young people continue with their studies, complete their academic preparation and that tomorrow they will be successful young people, young entrepreneurs,» he said.
Such is the case of Jashiel García, a young entrepreneur from Matamoros, who today has his own water bottling company and who participated in this seminar with his lecture «A practical guide to achieve whatever you set your mind to in life».
Another young entrepreneur, Nelly Espinoza, also participated with her lecture «Five steps to success».
The young Ana Lilia Salazar also participated with her lecture «Habit for highly effective people», to name a few of the lectures, all of them of great interest and that captured the attention of the young students of UT Matamoros.
t the end of the seminar, Ms. Beatriz Yarritu Saeb, director of academic connections of this university, presented awards to each of the speakers and to the president of the Matamoros Rotary Club, Manuel Ramírez Marroquín.
It is important to inform that this seminar for Young Leaders was held in the «Professor José Luis Cuellar Ornelas» audiovisual room, located in the UT Matamoros’ connection building.
