UTM STUDENTS CELEBRATE «UNIVERSITY TECHNICIAN’S DAY».
The Technological University of Matamoros offered a celebration to its students as part of the «University Technician’s Day», an event in which students from different careers participated, including Mechatronics, Industrial Processes, Maintenance, Commercial Logistics and Information Technology.
The rector of UTM, José Antonio Tovar Lara, accompanied the students on this important day, which is a tradition in the country’s Technological Universities.
In a festive and joyful atmosphere, the students enjoyed the celebration that took place in the cultural area of the university’s own linkage building.
In this context, students from different careers also participated and enjoyed sports matches in the disciplines of volleyball and soccer.
The celebration offered by the UTM administration was also in recognition of its participation in each of the programs and projects promoted by the university, which has achieved important recognitions, accreditations and certifications granted by external organizations, including the Council for Accreditation in Accounting and Administration Education A.C. (CACECA) and the Council for Accreditation in Engineering Education A.C. (CACEI). (CACECA) and the Accreditation Council for Engineering Education A.C. (CACEI).
On the other hand, Tovar Lara informed that due to the demand from high school graduates, a new admission exam will be applied for all those young people interested in entering the Technological University of Matamoros.
The Ceneval exam will be administered on July 31 at UTM’s facilities.
