UTM STUDENTS AND TEACHERS TRAVEL TO THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA.
With the firm purpose of reinforcing students’ knowledge and informing them about academic and industrial life in other countries, a delegation of UT Matamoros students, with the assistance of a group of professors, recently departed for the People’s Republic of China.
This was informed by the UT Matamoros Rector, Dr. Ivett Bermea Vázquez, who said that the delegation of students and teachers will visit two universities and industrial companies, visits that will surely enrich their knowledge and will undoubtedly be a great experience for all of them.
They are teachers and students, he explained, who have a perfect command of English and who are visiting for the first time this great country, the People’s Republic of China, famous for its industries, great commercial, technological and academic development.
All these visits, he said, to countries such as the People’s Republic of China, the United States, France, Argentina and right here in our nation, «are visits that undoubtedly enrich the knowledge of our students, they are visits of great experience for them and that will motivate them to continue with their academic preparation,» he concluded.
