UTM SIGNS COLLABORATION AGREEMENT WITH CANACINTRA.
In order to allow students to carry out their internships and develop their creativity that will lead to the creation of new projects in support of the maquiladora industry, the UT Matamoros recently signed a collaboration agreement with the National Chamber of Industry and Transformation (Canacintra).
Alejandro Fernandez Sandoval, head of the Business Incubator Program at UT Matamoros, said that they had already been working in this sense with the business sector of the city before, «we only needed to sign this agreement to give it a greater formality.
For this reason, this Friday morning, May 11, 2018, at the UT Matamoros facilities, the agreement was signed with the president of Canacintra Matamoros, Mr. Rogelio García.
And this strengthens the linkage work that was already taking place between UT Matamoros and Canacintra, where young people from our University attend companies for their internships, «and in many cases, it must also be said, for their good academic preparation and project innovation, at the end of their stays they are hired by the same employers because they are convinced that they are very good young people prepared at UT Matamoros».
