UTM Relevance and Linkage Committee Meeting
As part of UTMatamoros’ outreach activities, this morning the University’s Relevance and Outreach Committee Meeting was held, with the participation of businessmen in the areas of services, maquiladoras and business organizations in the city. As well as representatives from state and Matamoros municipal agencies in the areas of Economic Development and Education.
The meeting was led by Diana Masso Quintana, UTMatamoros Rector, with the objective of informing the productive sector of the activities of linkage, internships and job opportunities, as well as the national and international achievements being made by students with the guidance of their teachers in academic, cultural and sports activities, and innovation and research competitions. During the meeting, the Commission made proposals and suggestions on new skills and knowledge that are required in their areas of competence.
The purpose of this meeting is to have a constant openness to link students and graduates in the different areas of work of these productive sectors and have the necessary skills.
