UTM RECEIVES CONAIC ACCREDITATION

UTM receives CONAIC accreditation

As a result of the strong impulse that the Governor of Tamaulipas, Mr. Egidio Torre Cantú is giving to education, the Technological University of Matamoros has consolidated itself as an institution of excellent educational quality by having 100 percent of its professional careers certified.

José Antonio Tovar Lara received from the hands of the Secretary of Education in Tamaulipas, Dr. Diódoro Guerra Rodríguez, the accreditation document for the Information and Communication Technologies Area Networks and Telecommunications granted by the National Council for Accreditation in Informatics and Computing, A.C. (Consejo Nacional de Acreditación en Informática y Computación, A.C.). (CONAIC).

This document was awarded by CONAIC after evaluating the academic programs, teachers’ performance, students’ learning level, infrastructure and equipment, among others.

Upon receiving the aforementioned recognition, the UTM rector said that this institution works in full accordance with the call made by Mr. Torre Cantu, to make education the detonator of growth and lever of change for the benefit of the educational community of Tamaulipas, which is framed in the State Education Program 2011-2016.

It is important to mention that UTM is one of the institutions with the highest educational excellence in Tamaulipas, with 100 percent of its degree programs accredited by national and international organizations, including CACEI, CACECA, CIEES, TOEFL, MICROSOFT, NATIONAL INSTRUMENT, iCarnegie Mellon; and now with the accreditation granted by CONAIC, the institution’s programs of study are further strengthened.
