UTM IS EVALUATED BY CACEI A.C.
With the firm purpose of endorsing the excellent academic quality that the Technological University of Matamoros («Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros») has today, this university is being evaluated today to achieve recertification by the Accreditation Council for Engineering Education. C. (Cacei).
This was informed by the UT Matamoros Rector, Mr. Flavio Hinojosa Alvarez, who said that on this occasion the evaluation committee will recertify the Mechatronics, Efficient Electrical Installations and Industrial Maintenance careers, «careers that will be recertified this year, as has happened with the rest of the specialties offered here,» he added.
The evaluation committee of Cacei A.C., said, is integrated by engineers of great honorability, who belong to various companies in the Mexican Republic.
The UT Matamoros rector mentioned that the evaluation includes interviews with students, businessmen from the region, and supervision of the facilities, which must have laboratories, workshops and other areas in accordance with the engineering courses offered here.
All of the above, he said, to demonstrate to the evaluators that we work with the study plans and programs established by the General Directorate of Technological Universities in the country, that we have very good facilities and above all, he added, that we do an excellent job of liaison with the companies, «who at the end of the day confirm the good academic level that our University has today, since the vast majority of our students who do their internships in their companies, end up being hired by them, confirming their excellent professional performance».
