UTM GIVES A CONFERENCE ON «THE CLASSIFICATION OF GOODS BY MEANS OF MERCEOLOGY».
On June 15, students of the career of Higher University Technician in International Commercial Operations attended the conference given by Mr. René Martín Cantú Cárdenas, who is a specialist in topics such as Merceology, «The classification of goods by means of Merceology».
To understand the term Merceology we have that it is the science that studies the nature or origin, composition or function of all movable things susceptible or not of commerce and according to it, its classification, also taking care of the knowledge of the impurities and falsifications, and the methods to recognize them.
During the conference, Mr. Cantú Cárdenas mentioned that the Matamoros customs office is the third nationally in tax collection, that many chemical products are handled and that a lot of seafood is exported from our state.
Once again, the commitment that UTM teachers have in the teaching process for the students is evident, and on this occasion, Irene García Montoya was responsible for bringing a guest such as René Martín Cantú Cárdenas.
The commitment of Dr. Ivett Bermea Vazquez, rector of UTM, to the student community of this institution remains firm, supporting projects that help strengthen the knowledge of each of the students inside and outside the educational institution.
