UTM CELEBRATES NATIONAL HOLIDAYS WITH AN EMOTIONAL CONTEST.
In commemoration of the 208th Anniversary of the National Independence of Mexico, the Technological University of Matamoros («Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros») celebrated with an emotional contest of stands with Mexican decorations, alluding to the day celebrated.
Students and their respective tutors organized themselves for this event, which took place in the multidisciplinary court at 12:00 noon for the morning shift.
Following the traditions of our country, students dressed up as characters that were key to the independence of our nation, as well as our cuisine, prepared their respective stands with Mexican snacks and sweets, traditional to the national holidays.
Administrative personnel and judges visited each stand at 12:00 pm to evaluate its decoration and then give a final result and award recognition to the winners.
Due to critical weather issues, the event was postponed until further notice.
