UTM and Conalep sign mutual collaboration agreement
The Technological University of Matamoros signed a collaboration agreement with the National College of Technical Professional Education -Conalep- Matamoros to work together in cultural, scientific and technological activities that benefit the students of both institutions.
The aforementioned agreement took place during a meeting headed by UTM’s rector, José Antonio Tovar Lara, and by Ismael Colmenero Lucio, director of Conalep Matamoros, which was attended by the directors of the upper secondary and higher education institutions.
The agreement establishes mutual collaboration to contribute to the education of students through the use of laboratories, workshops and bibliographic resources that are part of the infrastructure and cultural heritage of both institutions.
Students and teachers from the Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros and the Colegio Nacional de Educación Profesional Técnica will also be able to participate in events such as book exhibits and conferences for academic, cultural, scientific and technological purposes, which will help raise the academic achievement standards of students from both institutions.
