UTM ADDS TO ITS LABORATORIES TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCES FROM NATIONAL INSTRUMENTS

In order to continue improving the quality of education and technological progress among its students and teachers, the Technological University of Matamoros added 15 my DAQ (Portable Laboratory for data acquisition and generation) teaching platforms to its equipment, following the signing of the «National Instruments Training and Certification Project» agreement.
UTM Rector José Antonio Tovar Lara explained that the new equipment, which will benefit students and teachers of the Mechatronics, Industrial Processes, Maintenance, Information and Communication Technologies and Productive Systems Engineering careers, required an investment of approximately 500,000 pesos.
He said that National Instruments is distinguished by its ability to equip engineers and scientists with tools that accelerate production, innovation and scientific and technological discoveries.
In this sense, Tovar Lara added that the signing of the collaboration agreement with the aforementioned company and the participation in the aforementioned project represents for the Technological University of Matamoros the acquisition of great academic and technological advantages for students, alumni and professors of the different careers.
He emphasized that the partnership with National Instruments through the signing of the aforementioned agreement will project the Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros at an international level since by having the aforementioned teaching platforms, this institution will become a training and certification center worldwide.
Recently, the UTM Rector delivered the equipment to students and professors of the university, in the presence of Jaime R. Peña González, National Instruments academic representative, north and west region.
