UTM ACQUIRES MODERN HYDRAULIC AND PNEUMATIC SYSTEMS FOR STUDENTS’ TECHNOLOGICAL INTERNSHIPS

With resources from the Fund to Expand and Diversify the Educational Offering of Higher Education (FADOEES), the Matamoros Technological University acquired modern hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for approximately two million pesos, informed the institution’s rector, José Antonio Tovar Lara.
This equipment will allow the strengthening of technological practices, -hydraulic and pneumatic systems- performed by students of the Mechatronics and Industrial Maintenance careers, explained the UTM rector.
This important equipment was obtained with the support of the Governor of Tamaulipas, Mr. Egidio Torre Cantú, and the Federal Ministry of Education, who authorized the aforementioned amount.
Tovar Lara explained that this new equipment is in addition to the existing equipment and allows students to have the most modern tools to carry out their technological practices, allowing them to graduate from the institution with the knowledge that will guarantee their successful incorporation into the labor sector.
The new equipment was purchased from Festo Pneumatic, a world-renowned company with extensive experience in the modern systems that the Matamoros Technological University makes available to its students.
The equipment acquired by UTM was delivered to the students of the Mechatronics and Industrial Maintenance highways, during an event presided by the rector of the institution.
