UT MATAMOROS STUDENTS PARTICIPATE IN THE REGIONAL VEX ROBOTICS TOURNAMENT HELD IN TAMPICO.

Last October, students from Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros in the robotics discipline went to the city of Tampico to participate in the VEX regional robotics tournament.
Once again UT Matamoros students stand out in robotics competition. This time they traveled to the city of Tampico, Tamps. To participate in the First Regional Robotics Tournament VEX Tampico 2018, where they were coached by professors Esteban Isaí Lerma Puente and M.C. Ricardo Esteban Treviño Parras and managed to have an outstanding participation.
A VEX tournament is an international educational robotics competition in which teams must build innovative robots to overcome a challenge, which is different every year.
VEX is a Robotics system that offers students a highly engaging platform for learning in disciplines spanning science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM). These are just a few of the many fields that students can explore through the creation and use of VEX Robotics technology.
The students who participated in this competition are Héctor Ramiro Gutiérrez Flores, David Padrón Salazar, David Alejandro Cantú Franco, Armando Garizurieta Perales, Allan Millan Esquivel, Erick Arturo Guajardo Gutiérrez.
