UT MATAMOROS RECTOR’S OFFICE CONCLUDES SUCCESSFUL TOUR THROUGH ARKANSAS.

 

On January 24, the rector of the Technological University of Matamoros,(Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros), Dr. Ivette Bermea Vázquez, and the Secretary of Education in Tamaulipas, Dr. Héctor Escobar Salazar, met with the Governor of Arkansas, Mr. Asa Hutchinson, to continue their work tour in the State of Arkansas.

The meeting, which was also attended by the President of the National Association of Technological Universities (Anut) of Mexico, Dr. Raul Martinez Hernandez, addressed the multiple benefits that will be obtained through the recent consolidated agreement signed between Arkansas Tech University and UT Matamoros.

The Governor of the State of Arkansas, Mr. Asa Hutchinson, congratulated the participants in the signing of this agreement and therefore the Consul General of Mexico in Arkansas, Mr. Rodolfo Quilantan Arenas, since he was the bridge to consolidate the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between Arkansas Tech University and UT Matamoros.

The greeting was given at Governor Asa Hutchinson’s office located in the Arkansas State Capitol building. And thus concluded the successful working tour of the UT Matamoros Rector Dr. Ivette Bermea Vazquez and the Secretary of Education in Tamaulipas Dr. Hector Escobar Salazar.
