UT MATAMOROS PRESENTS SUSTAINABILITY PROGRAM.

On October 18, Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros presented the university’s «Sustainability» program to the Energy Commissioner of the State of Tamaulipas, Andrés Fusco Clynes.

It is important to highlight the great importance of sustainability today, since it is the total efficient and rational administration of all resources so that it is possible to improve the welfare of today’s society without compromising the quality of life of future generations. For this reason, UT Matamoros has created a Sustainability Program, which will be in charge of a committee made up of professors from this institution.

Flavio Hinojosa Álvarez, UT Matamoros Rector, welcomed the Energy Commissioner, Andrés Fusco Clynes, as well as Ramón Farías, Director of Energy Project Planning.

As part of this presentation, the Sustainability Committee was sworn in by the Energy Commissioner, Andrés Fusco Clynes, who later gave a keynote speech to the university’s administrative staff, faculty and students.
