UT MATAMOROS HOSTS THE 2ND MENTAL CALCULATION CHAMPIONSHIP 2018.
The Second Mental Calculation Championship was successfully held at the Matamoros Technological University (UT Matamoros).
With a favorable and outstanding participation, the Second Mental Calculation Championship 2018, «Alberto Coto» Cup, named after the Spaniard who holds the Guinness Record in Mental Calculation, was held at the UT Matamoros facilities.
The championship was held in different categories; basic, high school and college levels, with a considerable number of students enrolled in this type of event.
Flavio Hinojosa Álvarez, UT Matamoros Rector, gave a welcoming message to all the participants, as well as to their teachers, advisors and parents who attended to accompany their children.
Also present at this championship was Alberto Coto, who is a Guinness Record Holder in Mental Calculation, and who has 9 gold, 2 silver and 3 bronze medals, and who is currently considered as the person with the most titles obtained in mental calculation championships.
This second championship was qualified as a successful event, closing with the awarding of the winners in the different categories.
