UT MATAMOROS HOLDS THE SECOND TECHNOLOGICAL INNOVATION FORUM.

With the participation of young students from various universities in the city, but especially students from the Technological University of Matamoros (» Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros»), the Second Technological Innovation Forum 2018 was held, which was organized by the UTM’s rectory.
In an interview with the UT Matamoros Rector, Mr. Flavio Hinojosa Alvarez, said that the purpose of these forums is for young university students to enrich their knowledge with the presentations made by each of the speakers, highlighting of course the 4.0 technology.
«We want to bring young people closer to the current issues, so that they can prepare themselves for the future and have all the tools and elements to succeed in it,» he said.
Among the speakers was the representative of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China in Mexico, Dr. Li Weiqi, who participated with his lecture «Reform of the Science and Technology Innovation System in China and Perspectives on China-Mexico Cooperation in Science and Technology».
He also highlighted the presence of the Spanish Alberto Coto García, winner of the Guinness World Record Award in Mental Calculation on 14 occasions.
Fernando Méndez García, with his presentation «Technology as a means to improve key decisions and indicators and the automation of manufacturing processes», among other important participants.
This Second Technological Innovation Forum 2018, he said, was attended by Dr. Maria Elena Flores Montalvo, head of Crede in Matamoros, the state education advisor, Dr. Ivett Bermea Vazquez, Alejandro Galvan as representative of the Government of Tamaulipas in Texas, among other educational authorities, entrepreneurs and representatives of the private initiative in the region.
