UT MATAMOROS CONTINUES WITH THE PROJECT TO MIGRATE TO AN INTERNATIONAL AND SUSTAINABLE BILINGUAL UNIVERSITY
Continuing with her project to convert UT Matamoros into an International and Sustainable Bilingual University, the rector of this university, Dr. Ivett Bermea Vázquez, recently met with rector’s staff from the BIS (Bilingual International and Sustainable) University in El Llano, Aguascalientes, an International and Sustainable Bilingual Technological University that started with this same project 5 years ago and that is giving them very good results.
In an interview with Dr. Bermea Vázquez, she said that this meeting enriched the plans and projects for UT Matamoros, which will migrate to the International and Sustainable Bilingual System starting this year with the International Logistics and Commercial Operations careers, but after three years, she added, all the careers will be under the BIS project.
That is the purpose of today’s UT Matamoros, to give that extra to the students so that when they finish their studies they do so with more and better tools such as mastering the English language and why not, also French.
