UT MATAMOROS BIS SYSTEM STUDENTS HOLD A «THANKS GIVING» EVENT.

Continuing with their preparation, students of the BIS system of the Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros, held last November the event called «Thanks Giving».

On November 22nd, students of the new BIS (Bilingual, International and Sustainable) system at UT Matamoros, held the «Thanks Giving» event, in which the young participants made presentations, videos, songs and representation of characters characteristic of the time of the first pilgrims in the United States of America.

Thanksgiving is a celebration representative of our neighboring country (USA), which has its origin in the celebration of the first harvest of the English pilgrims in North America, and as a way of thanks or celebration, they invited some Indians to share dinner. This celebration is currently held on the fourth Thursday of November.

The event was held in the area of the university, where our rector, Mr. Flavio Hinojosa Álvarez, as well as directors and teachers of this university were present.
