Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros enters into collaboration agreement CCyTEM-CemiTT
With the firm purpose of promoting the participation of students and teachers in high-performance entrepreneurship programs, on January 17, 2023 an agreement was signed between Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros and Instituto de Innovación y Transferencia Morelense (CemiTT), part of the Science and Technology Council of Morelos (CCyTEM).
This inter-institutional collaboration will benefit teachers and students at UT Matamoros by exchanging best practices in technology transfer, business innovation and research. Among the immediate results of this agreement, it is worth mentioning that UT Matamoros has become a pioneering institution at the national level by joining the «Wadhwani Ignite» entrepreneurship training model offered by the international Wadhwani Foundation in collaboration with the CemiTT, which officially began on January 23.
The signing of the document took place at the CCyTEM facilities, and was attended by Mr. Adrián Margarito Medina Canizar, director of the Morelos Center for Science Communication on behalf of the General Directorate of CCyTEM, as well as Mr. Roberto Abraham Carrillo, Project Manager and liaison of CemiTT. Representing UT Matamoros were Diana Masso Quintana, Rector of this institution, and Dr. José Juan Villanueva Sierra, Director of Research, Teaching Development and Graduate Studies.
With these actions, Chancellor Diana Masso Quintana reaffirms her commitment to give greater impetus to UT Matamoros’ links with institutions and universities that provide more and better opportunities for the university community.
