Transformation Without Borders

March 8 | Within the framework of International Women’s Day, this morning Mtra. Diana Masso Quintana, rector of the UTM, accompanied by students, teaching and administrative staff of this institution. They attended the First International Forum “Transformation Without Borders”, organized by the Women’s Institute in Tamaulipas.

During the event, the young women had the opportunity to listen to presentations by international figures; Andrea Irarrázaval General Manager and Co-founder of Carbon Biocapture LLC, Yolanda A. Parra Consul General of the United States in Matamoros and the Matamorense Researcher and Promoter of Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics of NASA Dr. Anabel Pineda Briseño.

Where they shared their experiences in the workplace with the women, emphasizing that through perseverance, discipline and perseverance they can achieve whatever they set out to do.

We appreciate the leadership of our governor, Dr. Américo Villarreal Anaya, his distinguished wife and President of the Tamaulipas DIF System, Dr. María Santiago de Villarreal, for continuing to transform Tamaulipas, as well as Mtro. Mario Alberto López Hernández Mayor of Matamoros and the C.P. Marsella Huerta Sosa de López President of the Matamoros DIF System and the Women’s Institute in Tamaulipas.
