THE UTM PARTICIPATES IN SEVERAL ACADEMIC RESEARCH CONGRESSES.
The rector of the UTM, Dr. Ivett Bermea Vázquez, informed that a group of professors is participating in several national and international congresses to enrich their knowledge and that these are reflected in the excellent academic level of this university center. These congresses are being held in the cities of Morelia, Mexicali and even in the United States.
«This is part of the continuous teaching update offered to the academic staff working at this University, all with the firm purpose of continuing to maintain the first place nationally as the best Technological University that exist in the country, «he said.
Construction of sports fields continues.
In other information, the rector of UT Matamoros also said that thanks to the support of the State Government, the construction of new sports courts at this university center is continuing.
She said that a dome will house basketball, volleyball and fast soccer courts, which will be completely finished before the end of this academic year. «We are talking that before the end of July this sports facility will be completely finished,» she added.
UTM Celebrates Children’s Day.
Finally, it was mentioned that UT Matamoros academic staff and students recently organized a celebration for the children of several elementary schools and preschools in the ejido El Ebanito and Guadalupe, a celebration that took place in the esplanade of the liaison building.
