The SSPM Provides Training in Road Safety Culture to UTMATAMOROS Students
The Secretariat of Municipal Public Safety (SSPM), through the Department of Traffic Road Culture, reaffirms the commitment of our Municipal President, Mr. Alberto Granados Favila, with the awareness and prevention of road accidents through road safety campaigns.
On this occasion, the SSPM gave a talk to the people from the Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros (UTMATAMOROS), with the objective of promoting a responsible and safe traffic culture among students. The talk was given by the staff of the Municipal Transit Department, composed by:
- Lic. Alma Cristal Méndez Barrientos
- Commander, Ernesto Sánchez Vargas
- Commander, Joel Hernández Frausto
- Samuel Villarreal Garza
Diana Masso Quintana, Rector of the Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros; Mr. Eduardo Jehú Silva Capistrán, Secretary of Public Safety of Matamoros; and Mr. José Luis García Castillo, Director of Municipal Transit, were present during the activity. Through an agreement, discounts are granted for the driver’s license exam, as part of the joint efforts to promote road safety among the student community.
With this action, the SSPM continues working to build a safer environment for all citizens, reinforcing the commitment to raise awareness about the importance of respecting road rules and preventing accidents.
