THE RECTOR OF THE UTM, DRA. IVETT BERMEA VÁZQUEZ ATTENDS THE PRESENTATION OF THE NEW CONSUL OF THE UNITED STATES IN MATAMOROS.
In order to continue strengthening ties with the neighboring country, Dr. Ivett Bermea Vázquez, Rector of the Technological University of Matamoros, attended the presentation of the new U.S. Consul in Matamoros, Neda Brown, in the company of Mr. Alejandro Fernández Sandoval, Coordinator of the Business Incubator and International Mobility.
The Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros has benefited from the relationships that have been created with different universities in the United States, and the purpose of Dr. Ivett Bermea Vázquez’s meeting with the new consul, Neda Brown, is to formalize this alliance once again in order to create opportunities for UTM and above all for the students.
In recent months, groups of students and teachers traveled to the city of Laredo, Texas, for a one-week stay, where they were trained in English language improvement. Likewise, a group of teachers traveled to the city of Magnolia, Arkansas, in May of this year, to train in the English language, with a one-month stay.
