As a result of the strong impetus that the Governor of Tamaulipas, Mr. Egidio Torre Cantú, is giving to education, the Technological University of Matamoros has consolidated its position as an institution of excellent educational quality by having 100 percent of its professional careers certified.

Within the framework of the call made by the Governor of the State when he presented the State Education Plan to work together for the education of Tamaulipas, UTM received two important accreditations for the careers in Industrial Maintenance and Mechatronics in the area of Efficient Electrical Installations, granted by the Accreditation Council for Engineering Education (CACEI).
