“Swearing-In Ceremony of the 2025 Relevance and Engagement Committee”

A decisive step toward an education aligned with today’s social and workforce needs.
Today, UTMatamoros Chancellor Professor Diana Masso Quintana led the official swearing-in of the Relevance and Engagement Committee, a consultative body that will play a key role in strategic decision-making and the development of new academic programs and formats at the university.
The Chancellor expressed her gratitude to each member of the Committee—including leaders from business chambers, the productive sector, private enterprise, consultants, research professors, and alumni—whose mission is to ensure that UTMatamoros’s academic offerings remain current, relevant, and aligned with regional development.
At UTMatamoros, we firmly believe that strong ties with society are essential to shaping professionals who are well-prepared, socially aware, and deeply committed.
Let Matamoros be your first choice—and let it be UTM!
We also extend our sincere thanks to Governor Dr. Américo Villarreal Anaya for his continued support of higher education and his humanistic vision that drives academic and professional growth across our university community
