Students of UTM go to VEX Robotics World Championships – VEX U 2023
After an outstanding participation in the International Robotics and STEM Skills Tournament 2023, five teams from the Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros (UTM) managed to obtain their pass to the VEX Robotics World Championship-VEX U 2023, to be held in Dallas, Texas, from April 27-29.
Mexico is represented by 10 teams, 5 of which are from UTMatamoros. The other teams are from other universities, UT Altamira, UT Metropolitana de Mérida and TEC Monterrey Campus Saltillo.
Diana Masso Quintana, rector of UTMatamoros, expressed that this world championship is very important as it will allow students to face teams from universities in Japan, Korea, China, Canada, Spain, England, United States, among other countries, which have a great development in the areas of technology, engineering and mathematics and she is very sure that #UTM students will achieve excellent results.
