The Technological University of Matamoros invites students from our university and high school to participate in the first championship of:

Beach Cleaner Robot

UT Matamoros and high school students are invited to participate in the first ROBOT BEACH CLEANER championship, to be held at UTM facilities on January 30, 2018.

The following requirements must be met. Rules of participation:

University category:

This category is open to any student duly enrolled in the University in any term, either in presential or in internships. The participation can be individual or in teams.

Upper middle school category:

You must be a high school student duly enrolled in any semester and must wear your ID on the day of the championship.

Participating teams will consist of a maximum of four students and a teacher advisor (the advisor may participate with more than one team if required by the students).

Registration begins after the publication of the call for applications and closes on January 28, 2019.
The competition will be held in the categories of University and high school under the rules of competition ANNEX 1.

Awards

University Category

First place: full scholarship for team members. Inscription, transportation and food for one quarter.

Second Place: Scholarship for registration for all team members.

High School Category

First place: Full scholarship for team members. Enrollment, transportation and meals for one semester at the Universidad Tecnologica de Matamoros.

Second place: Scholarship for enrollment for all team members in Universidad Tecnologica de Matamoros.

Note: THE CASES THAT ARE NOT FORESEEN IN THE PRESENT CALL OR IN THE RULES OF THE COMPETITION, WHICH ARE ATTACHED, WILL BE SOLVED BY THE GROUP OF JUDGES OF THE TOURNAMENT.
