Regional VEX Tipping Point Tournament – Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros-Reeduca Zona Noreste
As part of the activities to be held as part of the Technological Innovation Week, last Friday UTMatamoros successfully held the Regional VEX Tipping Point Tournament – Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros-Reeduca Zona Noreste. The tournament was held at a regional level, with the purpose of promoting a scientific and technological culture to develop skills and abilities in the design and programming of robots, where science and creativity come together to build the future.
The Rector, Mr. Flavio Hinojosa Alvarez, gave the welcoming remarks to this great event, which was attended by the Technological University of Altamira, the Technological University of Nuevo Laredo, CETIS 109, Robotik World Center and the host Technological University of Matamoros.
The event was attended by Dr. Maria Elena Flores Montalvo, Director of CREDE Matamoros, Dr. Alejandro Gonzalez Lozano, Rector of the Polytechnic University of the Ribereña Region, Mtro. Edgar Garza Hernandez, Rector of UT Tamaulipas Norte, Soraya Vazquez Abed, organizer of the VEX Reeduca Northeast Zone Tournament, Mr. Flavio Hinojosa Alvarez, Rector of the Technological University of Matamoros and Directors of the Universities.
