Pre-registration begins February 17 through March 7
The Technological University of Matamoros, Universidad Tecnologica de Matamoros, will open its pre-enrollment period from February 17 to March 7, offering two new careers: Petroleum Maintenance and Nanotechnology in the Materials area, informed Jose Antonio Tovar Lara.
The UTM rector explained that the aforementioned careers will be opened in response to the demand of the labor market, where, for example, nanotechnology already occupies a very important place, as it is being applied in areas such as mechatronics and the food industry, among others.
The Petroleum Maintenance career, he added, is a career that will also be in great demand due to the exploitation of hydrocarbons off the coast of Matamoros.
In this sense, the UTM Rector explained that these new careers are in addition to those already offered at the institution, such as: Mechatronics in Automation, Industrial Maintenance, Productive Systems, Mechatronics in Electricity, International Logistics, Information Technology and Project Management and Evaluation.
