MR. FLAVIO HINOJOSA, RECTOR OF THE UTM, TRAVELED TO NEVADA TO SIGN AN AGREEMENT WITH THE UNIVERSITY.

During the first days of October, Mr. Flavio Hinojosa Álvarez, president of the Technological University of Matamoros («Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros»), traveled to the State of Nevada, USA, to sign a series of agreements with the General Directorate of Technological Universities of that State, with the purpose of having more students strengthen their knowledge in university centers in that country.

Agreements, very similar to those already obtained with the State of Arkansas and Kentucky, where nowadays several of our students are staying and reinforcing their knowledge through the mastery of the English language.

«In such a way that next week we will be visiting the municipalities of Reno, Carson City and Las Vegas, as well as the offices of Higher Education System, with whom we will be signing this collaboration agreement precisely in the State of Nevada», he informed.

This trip, he said, will be made by the Secretary of Education in Tamaulipas, Dr. Héctor Escobar Salazar, the UT and Polytechnic Counselor, Dr. Ivett Bermea Vázquez, and myself as rector of UT Matamoros.
