MR. ENRIQUE NADER NEMER VISITS UT MATAMOROS TO INFORM STUDENTS ABOUT THE DIFFERENT SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMS.
The general director of the Instituto Tamaulipeco de Becas, Estímulos y Créditos Educativos, Enrique Nader Nemer, visited the facilities of the Universidad Tecnológica de Matamoros to inform students about the different scholarship programs that exist in this institute, especially the Manutención scholarship.
This was informed by UTM’s Rector, Mr. Flavio Hinojosa Álvarez, who said that it is especially important because the registration period to obtain a scholarship like this one is from February 25 to March 13.
«In other words, we are just a few days away from the registration deadline to obtain a Manutención scholarship,» he said.
Therefore, in order to ensure greater coverage, inclusion and educational equity for the construction of a more just society, as well as to reduce school dropout rates, improve school efficiency and favor the incorporation of graduates in the productive sectors of the State, he said, the Government of Tamaulipas created this scholarship for the benefit of Tamaulipas citizens.
«We have been working for several years with this type of scholarship and for this semester February – June 2019, applicants must register in a timely manner,» he said.

There, students can access, obtain more information and even register, where applicants can apply for one of these scholarships, as thousands of young Tamaulipas students have already achieved through this scholarship, by simply presenting grades higher than 8.5.
«After they register and approve their application, the young scholarship recipients, both in high school and public universities in the state, may receive an economic stimulus that will allow them to continue with their studies, an economic stimulus that could reach them in April, within a month,» he concluded.
