The mission of the Tamaulipas Mobile Museum of Science and Technology is to motivate the interest of elementary school students in scientific and technological knowledge and its applications.

Its itinerant mode of operation will allow it to visit the main cities, their neighborhoods and intermediate and rural populations.

The didactic model proposes interaction and a learning experience that will awaken interest and experiential learning, observing phenomena and technological tools of some topics of Plant, Animal, and Human Biology; Electricity, Electronics, Computers, Alternative Energies, and Optics; as well as an approach to the regions of Tamaulipas, its nature, population, and economy.

In addition, the Mobile Museum «La Bobina» has an interactive 3D classroom equipment, which has more than 500 educational topics, where children and young people will have fun learning.

Its preferred target population is those who live in communities that are marginalized and would have much more restrictions to access a learning experience such as the one offered by a technology museum, which represents an advance towards equity in the teaching of science, technology and innovation.

The Mobile Museum «La Bobina», represents both an added innovation to the educational system of Tamaulipas and an improvement in the approach of technological and laboratory instruments to the elementary and high school population.

Objective:

Considering the need to add all sectors of Tamaulipas to strengthen scientific and technological activities as a lever for social and economic development.
