MATÍAS ROMERO JOINT RESEARCH PROGRAM FOR VISITING PROFESSORS AND GRADUATE STUDENTS 2019-2020 AT THE UNIVERSITY OF TEXAS AT AUSTIN.
The General Directorate for North America and the Mexican Consulate in Austin, in collaboration with the University of Texas at Austin (UT Austin), are calling for professors or graduate students of Mexican nationality who reside in Mexico and are interested in conducting a joint research project with a counterpart at UT Austin, in any discipline of science, technology, engineering, mathematics, humanities, social sciences and health.
The total funding available is US$45,000 per year and will be divided among those selected (up to 10 projects per academic year). The SRE will determine the amount awarded to each beneficiary, depending on the scope of their project and its duration, which may not exceed two months.
The deadline for receipt of documents is May 10, 2019 with the objective of covering the fall 2019, spring and summer 2020 periods.

Candidates must develop the theme related to the reference area of the chosen course.
Projects can be uploaded until April 5, 2019. The competition is open to students of all nationalities. The age limit to participate is 26 years old at the time of applying for the scholarship.
